About this website

Welcome to Stories From The Graves. We explore historic cemeteries, investigate restless spirits who are not resting in peace, and uncover the quirky, fascinating tales etched in stone. This site is completely free, built for fun, and made for anyone who loves mysteries, cemetery lore, and unusual history.

Unearthing cemetery stories and traditions

Graveyards are full of cultural customs, heartfelt farewells, and curious discoveries. From witty and morbid epitaphs to actual heirloom recipes carved directly onto gravestones, we share the vibrant stories left behind. Our podcast investigates the dead who remain restless and we try to dispel myths that surround the diseased while celebrating the humor, intellect, and mystery found among the gravestones.

Recipes, epitaphs, and fan participation

Beyond listening to the podcast episodes, this website gives you interactive ways to join in. Explore our collection of craved gravestone recipes and epitaphs for each episode. Join the contest to submit your own epitaph for each episode.  Epitaphs submitted in the contest must be original.  Try the gravestone recipe at home and let us know the results.  Participate in friendly community conversation. Every new podcast brings new episode recipes, epitaphs and tombstone tales for the community to test and discuss.
